Children with congenital early syphilis - the disease manifests itself immediately.More often the baby is premature, there is a lesion of the skin, bones, nervous system, lungs, liver;The child suffers from rhinitis, improves weight, slow, at the same time anxious, restless, capricious.Lethal outcome is due to pneumonia.

Children with congenital late syphilis - symptoms begin to appear between the seventh and the 14th years of life, through damage to the teeth, eyes and deafness, most likely all organs are already affected.

All pregnant women should take an analysis for syphilis three times during pregnancy: when they register, in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.If syphilis is detected, then 2 courses of treatment are performed, the first - immediately after the detection of the disease and the second preventive, the treatment is carried out with antibiotics and concomitant medications.
