If a cyst rupture is accompanied by excessive blood loss, the woman is urgently hospitalized in a hospital for urgent surgical intervention. The operation is performed by laparoscopy. During the operation, part of the ovary and the destroyed follicle are removed, and bleeding stops. Sometimes the situation develops so that specialists remove one ovary completely.
