The three stages of the development of the delirious state are distinguished which manifest themselves gradually changing one another

The first stage of the - the patient accelerates speech towards the evening or night, sometimes becomingAbsolutely indiscriminate, general excitement increases, movements become fussy and hasty, it becomes too expressive facial expression, reflecting all nervous tension. Similarly, patients begin to talk a lot, but the replicas are incoherent, fragmentary and inconsistent. A person has vivid memories. The person is extremely excited, the usual sounds and lighting are annoying, the intensity of the taste perception is changing and increasing, the mood is extremely variable: that unrestrained fun, unreasonable joy or delight, whims and gloomy mood, anxiety and depression.

The second stage of - against the background of increased sensitivity to external influences, distractions, sharp changes in mood and talkativeness, there appears a distorted visual perception of reality. For example, a patient can see in the usual shadows on the wall any images. Sometimes there is a disruption of orientation in time and on the spot. Hypnotic hallucinations occur during sleep with eyes closed. In the first and second stages of delirium development, sleep is shallow and is accompanied by bright, often disturbing or even nightmarish dreams. After awakening, the patient is unable to distinguish the dream from reality.

Third stage.
As in the third stage there are tactile, olfactory and auditory hallucinations, a fragmentary delirium. The speech is incoherent and is limited only by fragmentary exclamations and phrases. At this stage of the disease, the orientation in time and space is completely disrupted. Strangely enough, the awareness of one's own personality in patients with delirium is always preserved. Sometimes the third stage proceeds more heavily, there are pictures of mussictive or professional delirium.
Usually, the white delirium( delirium) lasts from three days to a week. It often passes during sleep. After the depression comes, as well as the decline of strength.

Types of white fever: delirium.
Professional delirium or delirium of employment is a delirious state expressed by the predominance of monotonous motor excitation in the form of actions performed every day. Delirium and hallucinations are completely absent or insignificant.

Mutating delirium or quiet delirium - a delirium with a monotonous excitement( usually within the confines of a bed) with excitement, is manifested by the desire to shake or remove from oneself something, quiet mumbling and grasping of unreal objects, just the vague utterance of interjections and individual sounds.
