    Treatment, with pancreatitis in remission, is aimed at preventing relapses and restoring the body. Raisins have a beneficial effect on the body, thanks to the vitamins and trace elements contained therein:

    • oleanoic acid promotes immunity and protects cells from free radicals;
    • boron promotes the normal absorption of calcium, which is the prevention of osteoporosis and osteochondrosis;
    • iodine promotes normal functioning of the thyroid gland;
    • magnesium and potassium promote the strengthening of myocardium, favorably affect the work of the heart.

    The consumption of dried grapes contributes to the normalization of the stool, the enrichment of the body with antioxidants, and also has a toning effect.

    The diet for pancreatitis is based on the observance of the principles of moderation and regularity. Preference is given to grinded food, steamed. Raisins harmoniously fit into the diet of a patient with pancreatitis as one of the ingredients in the preparation of pilaf, porridge, pudding, curd casserole, jelly, kissels or compotes. Drink dried fruits with pancreatitis is better in the processed form. In small quantities, the use of raw raisins as a dessert is acceptable. A handful of delicacies, eaten as a snack, will saturate the body with vitamins and microelements.

    People with overweight, obesity, diabetes should not forget that raisins are a high-calorie product( depending on the variety up to 300kcal / 100g).The recommended daily intake rate for pancreatitis in remission is 50 grams.
    Pancreatitis is an insidious disease. There are many factors that can provoke an exacerbation. Patients with this diagnosis should not neglect the diet and recommendations of the gastroenterologist.
