Rectal suppository packaging
Important: all suppositories and ointments should be used with caution and only after specialist approval. For example, not everyone knows that belladonna (belladonna) is poisonous and can harm a child.
Ointments and creams are usually applied rectally using the applicator found in the package. If the applicator is not available, a tampon can replace it. Most often, ointment and cream are used after hygiene procedures, at night or in the morning. Ointments are good because they relieve friction and soften cracks.

The applicator makes it easier to apply the product
The disadvantage of these dosage forms is the consistency, which is poorly absorbed and stains clothes.
Candles with natural ingredients
It should be noted candles with sea buckthorn, calendula and propolis. These funds are good because there are no chemicals at all in them. Created using medicinal herbs, they are effective enough to help if the disease has not become chronic.
Three types of candles are time-tested and very effective:
- with sea buckthorn,
- with calendula,
- with propolis.
Sea buckthorn candles can bring relief after the first intake. They treat internal nodes, relieve itching and inflammation. Absolutely safe for mom and baby. They contain an extract of sea buckthorn berries in oil, which has a strong anti-inflammatory property. It accelerates tissue regeneration, is active against bacteria, and there is even information that it is capable of fighting tumors.
The course is two weeks, on a candle twice a day. Then they take a break and repeat the therapy again until the symptoms disappear completely. Sea buckthorn extract should not be combined with other suppositories, but it does not contradict tablets and ointments.

Sea buckthorn candles
It is worth noting the candles "Olestezin", in which the sea buckthorn extract is combined with benzocaine and sulfaethidol, which is active against bacteria. Sea buckthorn accelerates the healing of diseased tissues, benzocaine relieves pain, and sulfaetidol restores normal microflora and prevents the development of infection. Suppositories are inserted into the rectum twice a day, the course lasts about 24 days. Contraindicated in dermatoses.

"Olestezin"
Candles with calendula are excellent for the onset of the disease in its acute stage, in the absence of complications. Use with caution when knots fall out. Wounds and cracks heal well. Calendula flowers are able to relieve inflammation and suppress the activity of pathogens. Just one candle a day is enough to relieve symptoms.

Calendula candles
Since ancient times, propolis has been used in the treatment of a wide variety of diseases. To combat hemorrhoids, its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and reparative properties are indispensable. Propolis begins to act immediately, healing the irritated skin of the anus, and the beneficial substances, mixed with a fatty base (for example, lanolin), enter the bloodstream and have their healing action.

Candles with propolis
It is undesirable to use propolis if you are allergic to any beekeeping products and to bee venom, as well as if a nursing mother is under age.

Candles with propolis are not used for allergic reactions to bee products
The course of therapy lasts no more than ten days, three candles a day.
When treating with suppositories, it is important to follow a few simple rules:
- the dosage should not be exceeded, even if relief comes quickly and you want to succeed as soon as possible. It is necessary to strictly follow the instructions and the appointment of a specialist;

Do not exceed dosage
- even if suppositories are considered safe for breastfeeding, allergies may occur in mom or baby. If there is any reaction, the drug should be stopped immediately and consult a doctor;
- an increase in blood pressure is possible. Use with caution in diabetes mellitus;
- it is necessary to ensure that the candle dissolves in the anus, without being "lost" in the rectum. To do this, you can simply hold it in place with your fingers;

Rectal suppositories do not need to be inserted too deeply into the rectum
- all candles are stored in the refrigerator, not in the freezer compartment, unless otherwise indicated in the instructions.
Important: any suppositories and ointments can be used only after consulting a doctor. Even natural substances can have unpleasant side effects. Self-medication will not help at best, and at worst, using alternative medicine will worsen symptoms.
Additional drugs to help
"Vishnevsky's ointment" is a universal, time-tested remedy. Perfectly restores damaged tissues and prevents suppuration. Apply to the anus after baths with potassium permanganate.

"Vishnevsky ointment"
Gel "Troxevasin" - venotonic to reduce edema and regulate the outflow of lymph. Helps get rid of external knots. Troxerutin in its composition has a direct effect on the veins, increasing their tone, removes stagnation of blood in the small pelvis. Capsules with troxerutin can be drunk three times a day, one for the first two weeks, then reduce the dose; lubricate the nodes with gel twice a day.

Gel "Troxevasin"
Troxerutin is not combined with ascorbic acid, which increases the permeability of blood vessels and capillaries, so it is better to interrupt the intake of this vitamin during therapy.
Ointments with heparin are a good help in the fight against hemorrhoids. External nodes are not badly treated. Prevents the formation of blood clots. Heparin ointment is applied directly to the hemorrhoid three times a day for a week. If there is no improvement, it is best to see a doctor.

Using heparin ointment
Ichthyol ointment has long established itself in the fight against an unpleasant ailment. Ichtammol relieves inflammation, destroys germs and heals. It can be applied overnight to the skin of the anus. Excellent as an ambulance, but the disease does not cure.

Ichthyol ointment
Fleming's ointment contains witch hazel and horse chestnut extracts, which are excellent disinfectants and relieve irritation. There are ointments and calendula, menthol and zinc, thanks to which the painful area is numbed, purified and protected with zinc. The ointment relieves swelling, eliminates bleeding, strengthens the vessels of the rectal wall, protects the mucous membrane.

Fleming's ointment
This ointment is excellent for the initial stages of the disease, when the symptoms are not yet too pronounced. It can be used for a week, applied to the anus with a gauze bandage at least three times a day.
If Detralex, which has an angioprotective and venotonic effect, is prescribed for venous insufficiency, then there are no contradictions with hemorrhoids. Moreover, Detralex can be taken during lactation.
Its effective action was noted in hemorrhoids, by a rapid decrease in the size of the nodes. These tablets can be taken up to six times a day and will be a great help in overcoming pathology. Combines with other drugs.

Detralex
Portalac and Duphalac are mild laxatives that are indispensable in case of constipation.

ethnoscience
The easiest and safest way is to turn to traditional medicines, which have proven their effectiveness over the centuries. This is the right decision: often the disease in the early stages can be defeated without a trace by the forces of nature.
- Women are treated with sitz baths, lotions with herbal infusions, which stop bleeding and relieve swelling. These herbs are sold in pharmacies: calendula, chamomile and nettle. You can add potassium permanganate to the infusion for disinfection. If necessary, even irrigation with these infusions is made.

Calendula decoction
- Sea buckthorn oil swabs are harmless and give good results. If pathologists bulge out with an external form, lotions with propolis and birch tar are applied to it.

Sea buckthorn oil

Birch tar
- Microclysters with herbal infusions of vegetable oils that heal the walls of the rectum. Or you can apply compresses with the same herbs, honey or sea buckthorn oil.

Nettle broth
- Use homemade propolis candles with the addition of honey.

Homemade propolis candles
- Homemade ointments, where mumiyo, honey, birch tar or wax are mixed with butter or lard.

Mumiyo
- Raw potato candles.

Raw potato candles
- Gruel of grated beetroot on the outer knots.

Grated beets
- Half a teaspoon of cedar nut oil rectally before bed.

Pine nut oil
Baths are very popular due to the simplicity of the procedure, minimal side effects and noticeable benefits. Baths are:
- warm, to strengthen the stretched vessels and restore their elasticity (no longer than half an hour);
- cold, with an abundance of blood and pain (no more than five minutes);
- hot for local edema (no longer than 20 minutes);
- steam for relaxation and pain relief.

Sitting baths
Hot and warm baths should not be scalding, just higher than body temperature. If you take medicinal herbs, then you need to follow the instructions when adding herbal sachets to the bath. If potassium permanganate, then the water should be pink, but not saturated in color, so as not to cause a chemical burn.
The course of baths lasts no more than two weeks, but requires continuity to consolidate the result. It is advisable to take them every day at the same time.

Baths for hemorrhoids
When using steam baths, it is important not to burn yourself with the steam. It is necessary to settle down steadily over the hovering container so that the steam gets into the inflamed area. A dish with a hole in a non-heating lid that you can sit on can help. For the broth, oak bark is suitable. You can boil the infusion of chamomile and St. John's wort.

Chamomile decoction
Hot baths are contraindicated in severe bleeding.
Important: only a doctor prescribes the number of baths and medicinal herbs or substances for them. Self-activity in this matter is fraught with insurmountable consequences.
An interesting method of treatment is called a smoke bath. A red-hot brick is placed in a low tin plate, on which small pieces of garlic are thrown. These pieces are smoking, and the woman sits down on top of the smoke. The smoke bath requires a doctor's approval.
Apply enemas from strawberry leaves. For infusion, it is enough to pour a tablespoon of leaves with a glass of milk. Or they make candles from equal parts of milk, mumiyo and starch.
All of these aids can complement and enhance the effect of drug therapy, but consult your doctor before using it.
Important: with hemorrhoids, baths, saunas and hot baths are unacceptable. Additional heating aggravates symptoms and accelerates the pathogenesis of the disease.

Minimally invasive intervention
In case of ineffectiveness of traditional therapy, minimally invasive techniques are used, that is, simply mechanical actions aimed at removing the symptoms of pathology. These techniques are painless, acceptable at home and do not require a long recovery.
- Ligation of knots - pulling the formations with a latex ligature, which blocks the blood flow to them. The nodes dry out and are rejected by the body.

Ligation with latex rings
- Cryodestruction - cauterization of the nodes with nitrogen.
- Sclerotherapy - a solution called "sclerosant", as it were, glues the vascular walls.

The essence of sclerotherapy
- Photocoagulation - infrared or laser radiation, under the influence of which proteins in the nodes coagulate, the nodes decrease.
- Desarterization - constriction of the arteries that carry blood to the hemorrhoids.

Transanal dearterization
If these methods do not help, you will have to go for a hemorrhoidectomy, which is already a full-fledged surgical operation, with anesthesia. In this case, breastfeeding will have to be interrupted.
