Treatment regimen for intestinal dysbiosis in adults: drugs
The body of each person sooner or later faces a problem called dysbiosis.
This condition is a violation of the normal intestinal microflora, in which beneficial microorganisms predominate over harmful ones.
Dysbacteriosis cannot be called an independent disease, since it manifests itself as a consequence of certain factors or diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
Violations in the microflora are accompanied by a number of unpleasant symptoms. The reasons may lie in the pathologies of the digestive system, antibiotic therapy.
There is a specific treatment regimen for intestinal dysbiosis in adults, so it is important to consult a doctor for help as soon as possible.

Symptoms
The intestines in the human body are inhabited by bacterial flora. It contains both beneficial and harmful bacteria.
With a healthy microflora, there is a balance between microorganisms. Any violations can lead to serious consequences in which beneficial bacteria die, and pathogens develop and multiply.
Intestinal microflora disorders are accompanied by a number of unpleasant symptoms. All of them are associated with the work of the digestive system and general condition.
What are they:
- Stool disorders such as diarrhea or constipation;
- In the feces, there are particles of undigested food;
- Flatulence, bloating, increased gas production, rumbling in the abdomen, colic;
- Pain in the abdomen;
- Nausea, vomiting may open;
- An unpleasant odor, metallic taste is noted from the oral cavity;
- Loss of appetite, loss of body weight;
- Belching, heartburn;
- Sleep disturbances, insomnia;
- Headache, dizziness;
- Weakness, deterioration in general condition;
- Increased fatigue;
- Manifestations of allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes, irritation, itching;
There are 4 stages of dysbiosis, in which the symptoms appear gradually and intensify.
Causes
There are many reasons for the onset of dysbiosis, among which a number of provoking factors are noted:
- Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
- Antibacterial therapy;
- Treatment with medications, including hormonal and anti-inflammatory nonsteroidal drugs;
- Radiation and chemotherapy;
- Diet disorders;
- Unstable psycho-emotional state, stress, depression;
- Changes in the body due to age and physiology;
- Influence of viral and respiratory diseases;
- Eating poor-quality food, poorly treated water, poor environmental conditions;
- Intestinal infections;
- Overstrain of a mental and physical nature.
It is required to treat this condition in a comprehensive manner. To do this, it is important to consult a doctor in time and establish the cause of dysbiosis.
The doctor will carry out a number of diagnostic measures and send for laboratory tests. Based on the results, he will prescribe the correct treatment.
Treatment
For full therapy, a special treatment regimen for intestinal dysbiosis in adults is carried out:
- They destroy all pathogenic microorganisms;
- They colonize the intestines with beneficial bacteria;
- Achieve the correct balance of bacteria, which is constantly maintained in this state;
- They restore all intestinal functions, strengthen the body's immune defenses.
For these purposes, they urgently turn to a gastroenterologist, who carefully examines the clinical picture and test results.
To do this, you will need to pass tests of feces, urine and blood. The specialist will carefully study which beneficial bacteria are lacking, and which pathogenic microorganisms have colonized the intestinal cavity in excess.
Based on the results of the data obtained, special drugs are prescribed. Therefore, a thorough study will be required and only then complex treatment.
It is based on these medicines:
- A course of antibiotic therapy or the intake of bacteriophages is prescribed;
- Accept adsorbents and enterosorbents;
- Drink prebiotics and probiotics;
- Essential enzymes;
- A course of treatment with immunomodulators is carried out.
The selection and prescription of medicines should be dealt with exclusively by the attending physician. It is strictly forbidden to do this on your own.
Medication
After laboratory tests, drugs are prescribed. In order for the treatment to be effective, it will be necessary to establish the cause of the dysbiosis.
In case of violations of the intestinal microflora due to therapy with antibacterial drugs, antibiotics are completely excluded.
They will not be able to help with fungal intestinal diseases. Instead of antibiotics, antimycotic drugs are prescribed.
Antibiotics
Antibacterial therapy is prescribed to destroy pathogenic microorganisms, relieve inflammation, neutralize toxins and other harmful substances.
These drugs are prescribed on an individual basis and can be used in complex treatment.
Antibiotics of the aminopenicillin group are often prescribed, which are presented in the form of the following drugs:
- Amoxicillin. This antibacterial drug has a broad spectrum of action. The medication is semi-synthetic, available in the form of tablets or suspension. The course of treatment indicated in the instructions is 10 days, subject to a total daily intake of no more than 1500 mg of the drug. It is taken in stages, dividing the total volume into 3 applications.
- Ampiox. The medication contains oxacillin, which suppresses the action and development of a number of pathogenic microorganisms, including staphylococcus aureus. The medicine is produced in the form of ampoules for intramuscular injections and capsules. The course of treatment is 7-14 days. Take up to 4 capsules at a time, four times a day.
Antimycotic drugs
To suppress pathogenic microbes of fungal origin, it is required to use antimycotic drugs. They are able to neutralize yeast, staphylococcal fungi.
This group of drugs includes Fluconazole and Flucostat. Both medicines contain active fluconazole.
With their help, pathogenic microorganisms of fungal origin are destroyed. The course of treatment and dosage is established by a specialist on an individual basis, taking into account the characteristics of the body and the degree of damage.
Bacteriophages
These medicines belong to the newest generation. With their help, pathogenic microflora can be eliminated without side effects.
They effectively cope with their task, they are able to replace antibiotics. Combined drugs have the best effect for the treatment of dysbiosis.
These include:
- Sextaphagus. The medicine is an antibacterial bacteriophage, has a wide spectrum of action. Produced in bottles, has a liquid consistency. One dose is 20 ml of the drug. The dosage indicated in the instructions is 1 dose, which is prescribed four times a day.
- Inesti. It is an analogue of Sextafag, has the same form of release, action and dosage with this medicine.
Sorbents
These medicines are presented in the form of adsorbents and enterosorbents. They are prescribed in conjunction with antibiotic therapy in order to suppress intoxication.
These drugs actively attract, bind and remove from the human body all harmful substances, toxins, pathogenic bacteria and their decay products.
The most effective remedies:
- Activated carbon. Available in the form of tablets, they have an adsorbing effect. If intoxication or dysbiosis occurs, a shock dosage is taken. It is 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight. The therapy is continued for 6 days, reducing the dosage to 5 tablets three times a day.
- Polysorb. The active ingredient in this drug is silicon dioxide. It perfectly suppresses signs of intoxication. It is produced in the form of a white powder, from which a medicinal suspension is prepared. Dysbiosis is treated by diluting 0.2 g of powder per 1 kg of patient weight. During the first day, the medicine is taken every hour. For the next 4 days, the daily dosage is divided into 4 applications.
- Enterosgel. The medication relieves intoxication, has an enterosorbing effect. It is produced in the form of a gel. For one application, 1.5 tbsp is used. l. drug. The medicine is allowed to be diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 3, it can be used undiluted. During the day, it is allowed to take up to 4.5 tbsp. l. medicines. Treatment is carried out for at least 5 days.
Probiotics
Thanks to these drugs, the restoration of the intestinal microflora is ensured. The composition of medicines contains live bacteria, which are characteristic of a healthy intestinal cavity.
Preparations of this group are among organic compounds, with their help beneficial bacteria develop and grow.
The course of treatment is 10-14 days. Only a doctor can prescribe and select them, based on age, physiological data, the patient's weight and the stage of development of the disease.
What are these drugs:
- One-component. They contain only one type of microorganism. These include Lactobacterin, Bifidumbacterin.
- Second generation. They include several types of microorganisms that suppress pathogenic microflora. These include Enterol, Biosporin.
- Third generation. Based on bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. Presented in the form of Linex, Bifiliz, Bifilact.
- Synbiotics. Consist of nutrients and prebiotics. This is Florin Forte, Bifidumbacterin Forte.
- Probiotics of an innovative group. These include Bifiform, Bak-set.
Prebiotics
Medicines are used to resuscitate and normalize the intestinal microflora. This includes lactulase, dietary fiber, pectin, which have a positive effect on beneficial microorganisms.
For these purposes, Portalak, Hilak Forte, Duphalac are prescribed.
Enzymes
These include protein and non-protein compounds. With their help, the incoming food is actively digested and assimilated.
Medicines have a positive effect on the pancreas, stomach and intestines. They are prescribed for complex treatment.
For these purposes, apply:
- Macrazim;
- Mezim;
- Pencreatine;
- Creon.
The drug is available in the form of tablets made on the basis of pancreatic extracts. Take 2 tablets twice or thrice a day with food.
Immunomodulators
These medicines are made from natural ingredients. Echinacea is often the active ingredient.
With their help, it is possible to treat dysbiosis by stimulating the body's immune defenses. Among them are:
- Echinacea in capsule and tablet form;
- Imunal as tablets and solutions.
The appearance of the first unpleasant signs should serve as a serious reason for contacting a doctor.
An experienced specialist will select the therapy on an individual basis. Self-medication is contraindicated.
