  • ESSENTIAL OILS. They have antibacterial, antiviral and fungicidal effects. Helps maintain a healthy looking skin and nails.
  • VITAMINS. They nourish tissues, improve local immune defenses, and normalize the condition of the nail plates and hair.

The listed components are safe for humans, the risk of side effects when using them is minimal.

Climbazole is available in two dosage forms:

1. CREAM. It has a light structure of a white-yellow hue with a specific mint aroma. The product is packaged in 75 ml tubes. The cost in Russia is 190 rubles, in Ukraine - from 110 hryvnia.

Climbazole cream and shampoo

2. SHAMPOO. It has a thick pink-colored substance with a pleasant scent. It is sold in bottles of 150 and 250 ml. Released in a cardboard box with an annotation to the drug inside. The cost in Russia is from 120 rubles, in Ukraine - 93 hryvnia.

pharmachologic effect

Climbazole in both forms of release is effective against the fungal microflora Microsporum, Trichophyton, Candida and Pitirosporum. The drug works as a fungistatic agent, having an inhibitory effect on the growth and reproduction of mycosis pathogens.

The drug enters the general bloodstream through the skin, exerting a systemic effect on the body. Within 48 hours, its components are processed by liver cells in full. The drug has no toxic and carcinogenic effects.

Climbazole shampoo improves the condition of the skin and hair affected by the fungus. The cream strengthens the nail plates, eliminates flaking and itching, enhances regenerative processes in the dermis and fights against the unpleasant odor that appears as a result of the vital activity of pathogenic microorganisms.

Indications for use

Climbazole is recommended for the following conditions:

  • dandruff, seborrhea;
  • mycoses of the skin;
  • onychomycosis;
  • prevention of mycotic infections against a background of weakened immunity.
Fungal infection

Climbazole successfully fights the listed diseases, eliminating their clinical manifestations and preventing the addition of a secondary infection.

Instructions for use

Climbazole for nail fungus can only be used as a local remedy. The sooner you start therapy, the faster the positive result from the use of drugs and recovery will come.

Cream. It should be applied to nails and skin in an even layer 2 times a day for 10-14 days. Immediately before processing, the feet are washed, steamed in a hot bath and dried, removing damaged tissues with a pumice stone and nail scissors. Preliminary preparation of nails ensures better penetration of the active components of Climbazole.

Application of the tool

Shampoo. When activating pathogens of fungal infection on the scalp, it is recommended to use shampoo. A small amount of Climbazole is applied to moisturized hair and massaged into a lather. After 3 minutes, the product is washed off with a sufficient amount of running water.

For therapeutic purposes, Climbazole in the form of a shampoo is used 2-3 times a week in the first month of therapy. Closer to its end, the head can be washed with the drug less often - about once every 7 days, subject to the appropriate effect. If necessary, repeat the course.

Use in children, during pregnancy and lactation

Climbazole has a teratogenic effect on the development of the fetus, causing irreparable intrauterine pathologies. Therefore, the use of any form of Climbazole is contraindicated for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Restrictions of the same nature apply to children under 5 years of age. This drug is incompatible with the developing immunity of the baby, which can react in an unpredictable way to the foreign medicinal components of Climbazole.

Contraindications and side effects

The tool is not recommended for the following conditions:

  • liver failure;
  • diseases of the hepatobiliary system;
  • pregnancy, breastfeeding;
  • children under 5 years old.

If, as a result of using the drug, side effects such as weakness, dizziness and nausea appear, you should consult your doctor. Perhaps we are talking about poisoning.

Overdose

Since Climbazole has the ability to penetrate into the general bloodstream, from a theoretical point of view, oversaturation of the body with its active substances is quite likely. Fortunately, in practice, such cases were not observed due to the low concentration of components entering the tissues.

If signs of poisoning appear - nausea, vomiting and dizziness, you should seek medical attention. Treatment is symptomatic. In this case, further use of the drug should be discarded.

Alcohol compatibility

In the course of treatment with Climbazole, it is recommended to exclude alcohol consumption, since ethyl alcohol will increase the toxic effect of the drug on the liver and increase the risk of side reactions and poisoning.

Analogs

Climbazole has no structural substitutes. But there are drugs based on its active ingredients. Let's consider them in more detail:

  • Sulsenovaya paste "FORTE" with Climbazole. Antifungal agent. Fights against the cause of dandruff: increased activity of pathogens of mycosis on the scalp. The cost is 96 rubles in Russia and 67 hryvnia in Ukraine.
  • Vita Mater deodorant foot gel. Purposefully inhibits the growth and reproduction of fungal flora, softens the skin of the feet, deodorizes, and prevents its dehydration. The active ingredients are farnesol and climbazole. The cost is 140 rubles in Russia and 85 hryvnia in Ukraine.
