The product is available in 10 ml dark glass bottles. The solution is placed in a cardboard box along with a brush that can be used to treat skin and nails more easily.

The cost of Fukaseptol in Russia is 150 rubles, in Ukraine - 35 hryvnia.

pharmachologic effect

The drug is used as an antiseptic, so it is recommended to keep it in your home medicine cabinet. The active components of Fukaseptol have a pronounced antifungal effect, due to which it is used in the fight against mycoses of the skin and nails and for the treatment of wounds of various origins.

Indications

Fukaseptol is used in the following cases:

  • treatment of erosion, including purulent;
  • disinfection of abrasions and other damage to the skin;
  • antifungal therapy.
Fungal diseases

The drug is not recommended for use in case of burns, since its active ingredients can increase tissue irritation against the background of an existing thermal injury.

Instructions for use for nail fungus

To combat onychomycosis and candidiasis, Fukaseptol is used according to the following scheme.

  1. Rinse the infection with hot water and soap, dry it with a towel, and treat the nails and skin around them with any antiseptic, such as Chlorhexidine.
  2. Apply a thin layer of Fukaseptol to dry prepared plates and wait until it dries completely. After that, apply any antifungal ointment and fixing bandage over the drug.
Use of funds

Apply the medication to the affected areas of nails and skin up to 4 times a day. The recommended course of treatment is 2 weeks. After that, it is necessary to pause for 10 days, which will eliminate the risk of getting used to Fukaseptol and the formation of resistance in pathogenic microflora. Then repeat the course again.

It should be noted that applying the drug to areas with skin lesions (abrasions, scratches, etc.) can cause burning and discomfort, which quickly pass. This is a reversible reaction of the body to the action of boric acid.

Use in children, pregnant and lactating

Fukaseptol is not prescribed in children under 12 years of age. This is due to the increased toxicity of the drug - its active ingredients can enter the general bloodstream and lead to the development of systemic side effects. This restriction applies to women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In all these cases, it is recommended to use safer analogue medications.

  • intolerance to individual components of the drug;
  • pregnancy, breastfeeding;
  • serious pathologies of the respiratory system;
  • allergic dermatitis in the relapse stage;
  • children under 12 years of age.

Nina Ivanovna, 45 years old. “Fukaseptol was used for fungal nail disease. The drug is easy to apply, does not cause burning and discomfort. Of the minuses, one can note its color and smell, which are not immediately washed out, so I advise you to wear socks. Recommend".

Polina, 30 years old. “I have tried many remedies for onychomycosis, both medicinal and folk remedies, although they were all inexpensive. By the same principle, I chose Fukaseptol. For 4 months before the summer season, I managed to completely cure the infection and put on open shoes. "

Irina, 32 years old. “The unpleasant smell and specific color of Fukaseptol can be forgiven given its healing powers.
