pharmachologic effect

The complex work of all components of Fukortsin leads to the death of the pathogens of mycosis, blocking the infection at the cellular level and restoring tissues that have been affected by the fungus.

The keratolytic action of resorcinol complements the fungicidal effect. It limits the area of spread of infection and promotes the restoration of tissues damaged as a result of the pathological process.

Experts advise starting the fight against nail fungus as soon as possible. The sooner the therapy is carried out, the faster and more guaranteed the recovery will come. At an advanced stage of the disease, all local drugs have a minor effect.

Treatment of onychomycosis and candidiasis of the nails of the hands and feet with Fukortsin should be carried out in accordance with the instructions, since the components the components of the agent cannot be called harmless, and the intentional or accidental excess of the recommended dosage represents danger.

Indications

Fukortsin is prescribed for the following conditions:

  • fungal infections of the skin and nails;
  • violations of the integrity of the dermis - wounds, cracks, abrasions;
  • pustular diseases - acne, acne, etc.Fungal lesions of the skin and nails

Instructions for use for nail fungus

Before treating the foci of onychomycosis with Fukortsin, the following preparatory procedures must be carried out:

  1. The nail plates are trimmed and cleaned with a nail file (not too hard). Thanks to the preliminary manicure, the drug will penetrate much deeper into their tissues.Nails are trimmed and cleaned with a nail file
  2. Feet or fingers (depending on the location of the fungus) are immersed in a hot bath for 20 minutes with the addition of emollients - sea salt or apple cider vinegar. After the water procedure, they are thoroughly dried with a towel.
  3. Fukortsin is applied to prepared nails with a cotton swab or tampon, if the area of onychomycosis is large. In this case, the fabrics of the plate should be painted in a rich pink color.
  4. After processing, they put on socks on their feet, preferably those that you do not mind throwing away later, since there are very few chances to wash Fukortsin from the fabric.

Important! It is necessary to carefully apply the drug to the nails and skin, since with an excess of the drug, a chemical burn may occur. Processing is carried out once a day, before bedtime. Depending on the neglect of the pathological process, you can use the remedy 3 times a day.

The duration of the treatment course is 1 month. About a week after regular use of Fukortsin, the symptoms of the disease abate, the signs of infection begin to gradually decrease. If during this period of time there is no visible improvement, you need to consult a doctor and change the drug.

In case of recovery, when all clinical manifestations of onychomycosis have passed, treatment with Fukortsin should be continued for another 14 days. Thanks to this, a relapse of the development of the infectious process can be prevented, since mycotic spores have high vitality and can remain unharmed in the thickness of the nails for some time, activating in the most unnecessary moment.

Effectiveness with neglected nail fungus

Local preparations do not help to cope with an old disease. And Fukortsin is no exception. The infection penetrates into the body, therefore, with advanced onychomycosis, external drugs become an additional link of treatment, and the basis of therapy includes systemic antibiotics with antimycotic action. Only such a comprehensive solution to the problem gives positive results and leads to recovery.

Side effects

Fukortsin often causes increased itching and burning in the patient, but these symptoms usually go away on their own within a few minutes. Due to such a reaction, it is not necessary to refuse further use of the drug.

Only in some cases, the symptoms of discomfort continue to intensify and cause local negative reactions in the form of hyperemia and rashes - we are talking about allergies. In such a situation, it is recommended to wash off the drug and not use it again before consulting a doctor.

Fukortsin is undesirable to apply to extensive foci of fungal infection - in this case, an overdose may occur with signs of true intoxication, which are expressed in the following moments:

  • dizziness;
  • respiratory failure;
  • general weakness.

Dizziness, general weaknessIn such a situation, symptomatic therapy is required, providing the patient with an influx of fresh air and seeking emergency help.

Contraindications

During treatment with Fukortsin, it is important to avoid getting the drug on bleeding wound surfaces, which can lead to chemical burns of tissues.

The list of the main restrictions on the use of the medicinal product includes:

  • individual intolerance to individual components of the medication;
  • tendency to allergic reactions;
  • chronic dermatoses.

Use for children, pregnant women, lactating

There are limitations to dealing with childhood nail fungus. The drug can be used even in the smallest - newborns for the treatment of the umbilical wound, but until the age of five, the drug is used strictly in dosage and carefully. The phenols that make up Fukortsin partially penetrate the systemic circulation and can cause intoxication of the child's body.

When using the product in childhood for therapeutic purposes, the drug should be mixed in equal proportions with boiled water. In addition, the medication can be applied only to small surfaces of the body, do not leave it overnight and begin therapy only after in-person consultation with a specialist. The rest of the drug is used for onychomycosis by analogy with adult patients.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, they try not to prescribe Fukortsin due to its possible toxic effect. For the treatment of expectant and nursing mothers, safer antifungal analogues are selected.

Precautionary measures

As mentioned above, Fukortsin contains potentially harmful chemical elements, which in an increased dosage can pose a certain risk to the human body. For this reason, it is not recommended to treat fungal and other diseases of the skin and nails at home without the knowledge of the doctor. Before starting therapy, it is important that the dermatologist approves the medicine and selects an individual scheme for its use.

I did not go to the doctor, deciding to use Fukortsin, a drug that has many positive reviews on the Internet. Almost immediately the situation improved, the appearance of the plates began to recover, they became smoother. While using the drug for 2 weeks, I plan to use it until complete recovery. "

Vitaly, 36 years old. “I have been suffering with the fungus for many years - I treat it with various ointments and baths with varying success. A classmate suggested a method in the form of applying Fukortsin to nails before going to bed for a month, supposedly it should help. I got the drug and started treatment. The liquid really fights the infection, I was able to completely get rid of the fungus during this period. "

Sabrina, 24 years old. “My acquaintances have an elderly relative, a dermatologist, who advised me to treat onychomycosis with Fukortsin as an effective drug against skin and nail fungus.
