Treatment regimen for herpes amixin

One of the most common diseases caused by viruses is herpes simplex. It is caused by viruses of simple herpes of the 1st and 2nd type. Most often the virus affects the mucous membranes and skin. The virus of the first type is characterized by the presence of rashes on the upper half of the human body, the second on the lower one. However, recently there is often a genital( first type) and labial( second type) herpes. These infections are transmitted through unprotected sex.

Rashes may appear not only on mucous membranes or skin. Herpes infection can strike, as observations show, virtually any organ in the human body. It is this disease that accounts for a third of unplanned abortions occurring in the early stages of pregnancy and more than 50% of late miscarriages. Also, researchers believe that this particular virus can be the cause of some cases of male infertility. The infection strikes the immune system, causing the so-called secondary immunodeficiency, which in turn makes the body vulnerable to acute viral respiratory infections, psychasthenic conditions and lymphadenopathy. In more than half of cases, herpes takes a recurrent form, in which there are often exacerbations. The treatment of this form is very, very difficult, although the treatment of herpetic infection in any case is not simple. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no way to completely eliminate the virus, and all treatment is reduced to symptomatic, i.e. It is aimed at reducing the number of relapses, increasing the time between them, weakening their manifestations. The most priority area of therapy is to reduce the time period during which the patient may be contagious to others.

The most significant breakthrough for the treatment of the disease was made with the invention of antiviral drugs. However, their downside is that they are expensive, and they need to be used constantly - when the virus stops, the virus shows up again.

Not so long ago appeared the drug Amiksin. Its effect against herpes is longer and more pronounced. When used in therapy, clinical cure was diagnosed 1.5 times more often, and the probability of relapse was reduced by five times.

At the moment Amiksin is considered the strongest stimulator of endogenous interferon production. This allows activating the work of antiviral immunity, which leads to a reduction in the number of repeated relapses. Antiviral action is based on inhibition of the translation of proteins specific for the virus in infected cells, that is, in other words, the reproductive capacity of the virus decreases.

In therapy, taking this medication every day is not necessary, which makes it convenient for use. Amiksin is considered a safe remedy, and anyone can buy it at a pharmacy without a prescription.
