What is harmful for men?
You can drink no more than 2 cups of coffee or 3 cups of tea a day. If you continue to exceed this rate for a long time, it may decrease the activity of the male sex hormone testosterone because of the "counterfeit" energy given by caffeine. In addition, caffeine is a diuretic and causes dehydration( see the importance of water balance).Increased consumption of caffeine leads to increased acidity of the stomach, ulcer, weakening of bone tissue and washing out of the body of nutrients such as calcium, potassium, zinc, magnesium, iron. All these substances are needed by the male body to maintain sexual function.
Coffee that wakes up. It is estimated that 90% of the adult population consumes at least 1 or 2 caffeinated beverages per day, usually in the morning, in order to wake up, concentrate, give the brain a signal about the beginning of a new day.
It must be understood that caffeine is a drug. Like any other drug, caffeine causes dependence. It is difficult to expect that you can immediately give up coffee in the morning, but you can take action. For example, use a step-by-step strategy to reduce caffeine consumption: drink coffee from smaller cups, mixing regular coffee with decaffeinated coffee, or you can drink decaffeinated drinks for the rest of the day.

Do not use the "fake" energy that caffeine gives. Caffeine is a distant relative of cocaine, and they act in a similar way. Both drugs are stimulants and give birth to you. They increase heart rate, respiration and spur the activity of the nervous system. They excite you, change the activity of the brain, promote the release of sugar into the blood, increase blood pressure and relieve fatigue.
However, this is an artificial stimulation. The problem is that such stimulation is not real - it is fake energy. You are deceiving your brain to achieve a vigorous state. How? Caffeine increases the level of the stress hormone cortisol and the level of adrenaline in the blood. Together, this reduces the body's need for testosterone and its production. Every time you consume caffeine, neuromuscular regulation is forced to enter an overload state. In fact, cortisol and adrenaline interfere with the production of testosterone, and with it reduce sexual desire and potency.
Men who drink several cups of coffee a day, it seems that they can generally do without food for long periods of time. They live on this unrealized adrenaline energy, derived from caffeine stimulation.
The last serving of caffeine per day. Do not take caffeine for 2-3 hours before bedtime. If you are particularly sensitive to caffeine, increase this time to 4-6 hours. Deep sleep is the time of maximum testosterone production. If you consume caffeine immediately before bedtime, it interferes with deep sleep and overnight release of testosterone( read "Sleep conditions for maximum testosterone production").
Is soluble coffee worse than natural?
In fact, for the body there is no fundamental difference what kind of coffee you consume, as the harm of coffee is not limited only to the content of caffeine. If there is such an opportunity, try to give preference to natural coffee for several reasons:
- A natural drink is prepared from the highest quality grains( most often it is arabica), while soluble coffee is prepared from cheaper varieties( robusta) and poor quality of grains.
- A soluble drink contains preservatives, flavors and colors, and natural coffee is devoid of these drawbacks( or almost devoid of).
- With the industrial production of instant coffee, the grains lose virtually all of their soluble substances, which cause some useful properties of the drink.
