But you must agree, we make a choice ourselves: whether to use alcohol or not, to smoke or not, we choose our work, how to act in certain situations, how to behave with our beloved person.

In life, stress is very common. Its effect on the body is very dangerous and harmful. The thing is that this reaction is very ancient. For example, the pulse, breathing speed increases, the heart pumps more blood, the vessels greatly expand, the spleen starts to work in an accelerated mode, the number of lymphocytes increases, the pupils widen, the digestion slows down, because the body needs energy for the muscles and heart. Nature has designed stress in order to allow a person to take active action in a short period of time. But in our time, people usually do not allow themselves to relax and rest, even at a time when it is simply vital, which is why the body is constantly in a state of combat readiness. Our body constantly tries to restore balance in all possible ways, tries to adapt to stress, if it is very prolonged.

When a person is in a state of prolonged stress, he weakens his immunity. The immune system, which is constantly on alert, can not give its attention to combating infections, developing oncology and colds. The state of danger, which is caused by stress, is very important for our immune system, than protection from foreign microorganisms and infections, then the activity of the cells that are responsible for this defense is suppressed.

Struggle with stress

Under the influence of stress in the human body, much more free radicals are formed than in normal conditions. In order to fight them, you need nutrients: minerals and vitamins. With this task, vitamins C, A and E, zinc or selenium, which are very much in tomatoes, citrus fruits, olive oil, pumpkin, kiwi, seafood, sesame seeds and plums, are best cope with this task.
