Oak bark has long been known as an excellent healing agent that helps in the treatment of a large number of diseases.

It can be used for cooking decoctions, infusions on water and alcohol, extracts and lotions.

Depending on the recipe, the oak bark can be used for both indoor and outdoor use.

This popularity is due primarily to the excellent antiseptic properties of this natural remedy.

In folk medicine, there are many recipes in which the bark of oak is the main ingredient.

Oak bark

Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it can be used for the treatment of skin diseases, mouth ailments.

Oak bark is an indispensable tool for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and in their disorders.

If a person has diarrhea, then using this natural medicine is considered one of the best ways to get rid of frequent defecation.

Diarrhea is a consequence of the acceleration of intestinal motility, because of which fluid and nutrients do not have time to be absorbed into the blood, which causes a characteristic consistency of fecal masses during emptying.

The causes of the disorder of intestinal motility may be covered in poisoning with poor-quality products or medicines, the development of infections, the presence of helminths in the body.

In addition, diarrhea can be a symptom of various diseases of the organs of the gastrointestinal tract.

Oak bark has various microelements, flavonoids, levulins, proteins, tannins.

These ingredients provide thickening of feces and reduced intestinal motor function.

Tannins react with proteins and cause them to denature, resulting in a protective layer on the mucosa.

If the diarrhea was caused by the vital activity of helminths in the human body or intestinal infection, the oak bark will help to cope with these causes due to its antihelminthic and antibacterial properties.

It should be noted that oak bark from diarrhea can not be given to children under two years of age and pregnant women.

Pharmacy

Having a person with hemorrhoids or a tendency to constipation is also a contraindication to the use of this natural medicine. In rare cases, there are allergic reactions to the bark of oak.

You should closely monitor the amount of natural medicine you use. In case of an overdose, side effects are possible, usually manifested as nausea and vomiting.

In rare cases, the abuse of decoctions and infusions from the bark of oak can lead to the development of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Recipes with bark of oak

Oak bark can be collected and dried on its own, however the process has its own nuances and complications. It is much easier to buy a medicine in a pharmacy.

It should be borne in mind that starting treatment of diarrhea with oak bark is recommended after consultation with the doctor.

Because diarrhea can be a symptom of a more serious disease of the digestive system( for example, pancreatitis, hepatitis, gallbladder disease), suppression of this sign can make it difficult to make the right diagnosis.

Instructions for using oak bark from diarrhea are fairly simple. From it you need to make either infusion or decoction.

Sometimes people add more bark to make the oak drink stronger and, in their opinion, healthier.

This is a dangerous misconception, since an overdose can cause side effects and lead to the development of diseases of the digestive system.
