This is achieved by relaxing the smooth muscles, the majority of which in the body is represented by the walls of both venous and arterial vessels, and also the wallsHollow organs of the digestive system - this effect can be obtained by reducing the calcium content in the smooth muscles.

Also one of the observed effects is an increase in the rate of transmission of electrical impulse in the synapses of the spinal cord.

The immunostimulatory activity of the drug is also noted, which is believed to be achieved due to a change in the ratio of such substances as cyclic guanidine monophosphate and cyclic adenosine monophosphate( by increasing cGMP level). This promotes the proliferation of immunocompetent cells and contributes to the normalization of their allocation of factors of mutual control.

May also cause( although a short enough) expansion of cerebral vessels.

Dibazol ubf instruction on the use of various forms of the preparation

There are three main forms of release of dibazole:

  2. The pathology of the nervous system requires several different dosages - the drug in such cases is prescribed at 5 mg or once a day, or at all in a day.
  3. In children, the dosage directly depends on the age - up to 1 year, 1 year is prescribed, up to 3 years - no more than 2 mg, up to 8 years - 3 mg, up to 12 years - 4 mg, for children over 12 years, the drug is prescribed in a dose of 5 mg.Admission in all age groups is single.

Features of interaction of dibazol with other drugs, indications and contraindications to the use of

The interaction with such drugs is particularly pronounced:

  1. Diuretics and antihypertensives, in the case of use, simultaneously enhance the hypotensive effect of each other.
  2. With the use of dibazol simultaneously with drugs from the group of beta adrenoblockers, it is possible to prevent the growth of the total peripheral resistance of the vessels caused by the latter.
  3. Drotaverin( a drug much more widely known as a No-Shpa) together with Dibazol mutually reinforce the spasmolytic effect of each other.
  4. When applied simultaneously with a non-selective adrenoblocker Fentolamine, the hypotensive effect of Dibazol is enhanced.

Indications for the use of dibazol are:

  1. Arterial hypertension, both primary and secondary.
  2. Management of hypertensive crises.Angina pectoris caused by angiospasm.
  3. Stomach ulcer, duodenal ulcer, pylorospasm.
  4. Renal colic.
  5. Polyneuropathies, including facial nerve lesions.
  6. Long-term sequelae of the nervous system after a previous history of poliomyelitis.
  7. Abdominal pain( not yet diagnosed).
  8. Various peripheral vascular diseases.

Contraindications to the use of dibazol:

  1. Intolerance to Bendazole.
  2. Severe arterial hypotension.
  3. Convulsive syndrome.
  4. Intestinal bleeding.
  5. With significant impairment of kidney and liver function.

The most common side effects of the drug include allergic reactions. With the introduction of large doses, there may be an increase in sweating, a headache, a feeling of heat.

Application of dibazol in pediatric practice

Relatively low incidence of side effects and sufficiently high safety of the drug allow it to be used, including in pediatrics.Especially often it is used to treat newborns from the effects of birth injuries, which are accompanied with fetal hypoxia, which leads to a variety of neurological symptoms - to muscle hypertension, chin tremor, tremor, sleep and wake rhythm disorders, and intracranial pressure.

With all the above symptoms, Dibazol can be used, in which case not only its spasmolytic effect is used, but also the ability to improve cerebral circulation. Also, the use of Bendazol in childhood can be justified in colic, as well as in cases of too frequent colds - in this case the immunostimulating effect of the drug is used.
