Myocardial infarction: first aid

If a person has any diseases associated with coronary artery occlusion or he has angina pectoris, his heart is at risk of suffering a myocardial infarction. But there are cases when nothing precedes the disease, but it nevertheless overtakes a person.

Every person needs to know what the myocardial infarction means. This is the necrosis of a part of the muscles of the left ventricle. It can be caused by a blockage of the coronary artery, which provides blood supply to this part of the heart.

Earlier this disease was relevant among the elderly, but now it has taken its place among people from 30 years of age. The rapid activity of the current people, the food they use, and, of course, the environment in which the person is staying, affects its spread.

If a person feels a sharp pain in the retrograde area and the acceptance of cardiac means does not have any effect, then he needs to think about the possibility that he has a myocardial infarction. The attack can last from several minutes to several hours. The pain can subside, if you take an injection of pain medication, but soon again will make themselves felt. If a person feels a pressing pain in the sternum, he has a feeling of fear, this too can be a news to the illness.

On the background of myocardial infarction, a sick person may have cardiac asthma. A person becomes restless, can not accept a position convenient for him. The air often suffers, his face becomes exhausted, a sticky sweat appears on his face.

If a person does not receive first aid on time, then asthma can go into pulmonary edema. Then the person will start to go froth with bloody discharge from the mouth. You must do everything possible before the ambulance arrives.

First aid for myocardial infarction

The first thing you should do is calm the person who started the attack. You need to force him to lie in any way, he must stay calm. Next, the first thing to do is put a nitroglycerin pill under the tongue. Give it to the patient every 10 minutes before the arrival of an ambulance. You can also give a man a pill of aspirin, he reduces thrombosis. Every way you need to distract a person from pain, you can put on the sternum mustard plaster. Give a man valerian, motherwort, any means to relieve anxiety. There are cases when the patient is tortured with constipation, but know that in no case should a laxative be given, it can cause a "rupture" of the heart.

Of course, first of all, call an ambulance, because in such cases it is very necessary, it is impossible to start such a disease.

But if you see that a person has already become very ill, he has a noticeable stop of breathing, does not feel a pulse, you need to urgently do resuscitation. A strong, but short punch in the chest area should be a push to ventricular fibrillation. But if this did not work, then it is urgent to do an indirect heart massage and mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-mouth breathing to allow lung ventilation. Do this until the emergency ambulance arrives.

When the ambulance arrives, the patient must be transported to the medical facility only on stretchers. There he will receive full specialized assistance.

But remember that to prevent such a problem you need to treat angina in time and avoid blockage of the coronary artery. After all, a heart attack does not in itself arise, it is only a consequence of problems that were not resolved on time. And in order for this not to happen, you need to visit the attending physician on time and follow all his recommendations.
