Propolis for prostatitis

What is prostatitis and how to deal with it?

Prostate problems are very common among men. At risk are, first of all, older men, however, like many diseases, today prostatitis is significantly "younger".

In most cases, the cause of this disease is a disturbed metabolism - if a man suffers from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, then it can be assumed that the stagnation of blood in the pelvic organs, which is observed in such diseases, will sooner or later lead to problems with prostate.

Medicines and traditional medicine

In the fight against diseases, all means are good, and experts recommend, along with drug intervention, to take a course treatment with folk remedies - in the absence of contraindications, their use will not only support the body, but also help to win ailment.

Propolis is in a hurry to help!

You can find a lot of remedies against prostatitis. One of these popular methods for treating prostate disease is a well-known beekeeping product - natural propolis.

instagram viewer

This unique substance is an effective analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine agent.

It does not have any negative effect on the body and the prostate gland, but on the contrary, it activates all its functions, heals and restores it.

Propolis is used to treat adenomyosis, prostate cancer.

Propolis treatment

Chronic prostatitis

The use of propolis against prostatitis of the prostate gland suggests that this substance is only suitable for the treatment of a chronic type of disease. Any acute conditions are the competence of doctors, and amateur performance is inadmissible here. However, if the prostatitis is chronic, then propolis can significantly alleviate the patient's condition.

In the form of candles

Many leading doctors and herbalists have developed their own methods and recipes in order to treat prostatitis.

However, the most effective and convenient way to cure the disease is to use propolis in the form of suppositories (suppositories).

You can make them yourself (there are various recipes) or you can buy ready-made candles at the pharmacy. The effect will be much more noticeable if you additionally use enemas and take tinctures.

We present one of the recipes for suppositories that will help defeat chronic prostatitis.

Ingredients and preparation

  • animal fat - 200 grams (lanolin can be used). It must be melted in a water bath to a liquid state;
  • Finely chop 50 grams of propolis and add to the fat;
  • after the substance has dissolved, add 50 grams of finely chopped wax. This is necessary so that the candles do not melt from the warmth of the hands - the more wax, the less fusible the candles are;
  • all additives will not dissolve in fat without residue, so the liquid part must be poured into another dish and cooled;
  • cut the resulting substance into pieces and round them so as to give them the shape of a candle. You should end up with a cylinder about 1 centimeter in diameter and 5 centimeters long. The weight of such a candle will be about 10 grams, and propolis will contain about 0.35 grams;
  • it is necessary to store the received candles in the refrigerator.

The course of treatment with such a remedy (it does not matter whether it is made independently or purchased at a pharmacy) is 30 days. If necessary, the course can be repeated after a couple of months. Suppositories can be used to treat prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer

A folk remedy is also used to combat such a serious disease of the prostate gland as cancer. Of course, propolis is only intended to alleviate the patient's condition and activate the body's own forces after a course of chemotherapy or surgery. But to solve the problem of prostate cancer, you should not neglect the "grandmother's" recipes.

Properties

After all, scientists have long proved that propolis has unique properties, unlike the same chemotherapy, it destroys only diseased cancer cells, sparing healthy ones.

Clinical observations have shown that while taking medications containing propolis, the condition of cancer patients improved significantly.

Those who decided to take drugs with this product for the treatment of cancer, all body functions became more active, the digestive tract improved, an appetite appeared and sleep returned to normal. In general, the quality and life expectancy have improved.

However, it must be remembered that all propolis treatment regimens for prostate cancer are not intended to replace medical intervention; their use must be discussed with the attending physician.

Adenomyosis

Against the background of chronic prostatitis, another problem of the prostate gland very often arises - adenoma. This is a benign tumor that can sometimes be significant in size. Of course, this disease is much easier than prostate cancer, but it can cause a lot of trouble. With adenoma, there are problems with urination, back pain, kidney disease.

Treatment

For the treatment of adenoma, it is recommended to use products containing propolis. You can use suppositories, enemas, or take infusions. You can even just chew on a mixture of bee glue and honey. Such measures will help get rid of adenomyosis of the first and second severity. The use of propolis for the treatment of adenoma must be approved by the attending physician.

How to use?

There are many schemes and recipes designed to cure prostatitis. Basically, experts recommend using candles containing propolis, as well as making enemas and taking herbal infusions.

And if suppositories can be purchased at any pharmacy, then propolis tincture should be homemade, its use is possible only after consultation with your doctor.

We offer recipes that vary in complexity of manufacture and purpose.

Tincture

Ingredients and preparation

  • the root of the mountaineer snake, the buds of the black poplar and the medicinal larkspur should be mixed in equal parts;
  • Pour 15 grams of the mixture with 200 ml of boiling water and boil down to about half;
  • take 20 drops 3 times a day after meals.

The tincture is used for 20 days. After that, take a week break and repeat the course. This tincture can be used in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Another recipe

Ingredients and preparation

  • Dissolve 30 drops of alcoholic extract of propolis (96% alcohol is used) in half a glass of milk;
  • take such an infusion three times a day 15 minutes before meals.

Enemas

Manufacturing

  • dissolve 40 grams of propolis in 200 ml of medical alcohol;
  • add 2 grams of cocoa butter to the resulting solution;
  • Introduce 10 grams of the mixture into a small enema and leave to infuse overnight;
  • such enemas are recommended to be done in a course of 30 days with a 2-3 month break.

Propolis for prostatitis

Prostatitis is one of the most unpleasant diseases that can occur in men of almost any age group. Its main clinical symptoms are increased frequency of urination, which is characterized by a weak pressure of the jet. Disorders of the sexual sphere, as well as symptoms of discomfort in the groin, may develop.

The insidiousness of pathology lies in the fact that it begins very imperceptibly and for some time it also proceeds asymptomatically. The result of this can be such a serious and extremely unpleasant condition as prostate adenoma.

Another unpleasant complication of prostatitis can be impotence.

This means that as soon as a man has minor disorders of erectile function or urination, he needs to visit a urologist in order to conduct an examination.

In the early stages of the disease, when it has not yet affected most of the organ, good efficacy is shown alternative medicine, among which one of the most common is propolis from prostatitis.

This is a time-tested technique that was used by our ancestors. It belongs to folk remedies. In this case, propolis for prostatitis can be used not only as a therapeutic agent, but also as a measure of disease prevention.

Useful properties of propolis

First of all, it should be noted that it is propolis among all other beekeeping products that has the least number of contraindications.

In addition, it has a positive effect not only on the prostate itself, but also on the body in principle. For the treatment of prostatitis with propolis, you can use its various dosage forms.

Some of them can be bought at pharmacies, and some are easily made at home.

How propolis was used before

Doctors say propolis is a very unique product. It is produced by bees by processing resin that has been collected from trees and pollen, after which it is diluted with the secretion of the bees' mandibular glands.

People have studied the useful and medicinal properties of this product for a very long time. There is evidence of its use by the ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Romans.

Gradually, the value of the product became widely known throughout the world, since its use is advisable for many pathologies.

Bees, on the other hand, specially make propolis for themselves: in hives they use it as a material for buildings, it is quite hard, and soft has good bactericidal properties, so bees lubricate the walls with it their homes.

The composition of propolis includes more than fifty different chemical compounds, as well as vitamin complexes, acids, enzymes. Depending on what time of year it is, the composition of propolis may differ slightly.

The main mechanism of action

All the healing properties of this product are due to its unique composition. The most important of them is antimicrobial, which allows bees to survive in difficult weather conditions. Its internal and external use makes it possible to obtain high efficiency in the fight against prostatitis and propolis.

The most basic:

  • Immunomodulation by acting on the immune system, which allows you to fight against microbial agents. There is also evidence that propolis can well destroy the coccal flora, which is the most common causative agent of prostatitis;
  • Reducing inflammation and pain relief;
  • Antioxidant properties can speed up the processes of restoring the normal state of cells;
  • Detoxification. Propolis helps the body eliminate toxins, which helps to improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and genitourinary system. The metabolism is significantly accelerated, which makes it possible to eliminate the phenomena of stagnation not only of the prostate itself, but also of other organs.

Dosage forms used

It should be borne in mind that only a doctor can determine how to treat a problem such as prostatitis.

At the same time, many urologists do not pass by the side of propolis, prescribing alcoholic tinctures, rectal suppositories, extract or oil for microclysters. The doctor should tell you how to take this remedy.

Such dosage forms can be made by hand and used at home. But, if there are various obstacles to this, then ready-made preparations can be purchased at the pharmacy.

Candles

A dosage form such as propolis suppositories can reduce the intensity of the inflammatory process in prostate, thereby reducing the symptoms of discomfort and pain, as well as restore the cellular structure organ.

There are many recipes for making candles, so finding one that suits you is not so difficult. Candles should be inserted into the rectum before going to bed. It is highly advisable to empty yourself before this. The accepted course of treatment lasts 2-3 weeks, after which it must be repeated after a few months.

Candle making recipes:

  • A small piece of propolis is frozen and then crushed into very small pieces. Then you need to melt 100 grams of goat fat and mix it well with propolis. After the mixture has cooled, candles are molded with a small diameter of up to 2 centimeters in length.
  • The first part of the recipe is exactly the same: a small piece of propolis is frozen and crushed. You will also need about 25 grams of cocoa butter and 10-15 grams of anhydrous lanolin. The last two products are heated in a tin can in a water bath until they become liquid. Then propolis is added to them. This volume of medicinal substances is enough to make 12-15 candles.
  • The basis of this recipe is cocoa butter, which needs 80 grams. We also need butter or pork and beef fat in equal proportions. Fats should be melted in a water bath, then mixed with propolis, 12 grams of honey and 5 grams of royal milk and bee bread are added. The entire mixture should be stirred until smooth. It is necessary to ensure that the resulting solution does not heat up very much, the maximum temperature should be 40 degrees. The resulting solution is poured into pre-made molds, usually made of foil. Their size should be up to 5 cm long and 1 cm wide. It is recommended to store candles in the refrigerator.

One of the secrets of making suppositories is to place the resulting liquid in a 2 ml syringe without cannulas, in which they freeze.

Alcohol tincture

Alcohol tincture of propolis for prostatitis is usually prescribed for six months in order to treat the chronic form of the disease. The recommended dose is 15 ml per day a few hours before bedtime. It is allowed to take it with milk.

At home, you can make a tincture from propolis from prostatitis as follows: 100 grams propolis is crushed on a fine grater, after which the resulting substance must be poured with 200 ml of 96% alcohol.

This solution should be in a glass container for about 10 days. While it is infused, it is necessary to shake it up in a bottle three times a day. After the tincture has settled, it must be filtered.

The finished medicine is stored in the refrigerator.

Propolis oil

This dosage form is usually used to perform microclysters. The oil is heated and then injected into the rectum using a medical pear. You need 25-30 ml for one procedure, after which the patient should lie on his stomach for about 15-20 minutes. The duration of treatment takes up to three weeks.
