The listed side effects can worsen and turn into chronic allergic and dermatological problems. To prevent this from happening, when they appear, you should seek the advice of a doctor.
Overdose
Since Onyhelp varnish is intended for topical use, overdose is almost impossible. In case of intentional or accidental ingestion of a drug into the digestive tract, it is necessary to rinse the stomach and consult a specialist for the appointment of symptomatic therapy.
Use for children, pregnant women, lactating
Onyhelp, despite the relative safety of use, is not recommended for the treatment of expectant and nursing mothers, as well as children under 18 years of age. This is due to the fact that clinical studies on the use of drugs based on the active ingredient, amorolfine hydrochloride, have not been conducted in these patients.
Analogues and their prices
Onihelp has substitutes - medicines with fungicidal and fungistatic effect, intended for topical use. For example, preparations based on terbinafine hydrochloride - Thermikon and Atifin, they are also produced in the form of varnish, and their cost does not exceed 200 rubles in Russia and 80 hryvnia in Ukraine.
More expensive analogues that can be bought at a pharmacy are Micoderil and Exoderil. Their cost is close to Onihelp, although the price tag for the latter will still be slightly higher, but one way or another, they are highly effective antifungal agents at an early stage onychomycosis.
Comparison of drugs (which is better?)
Onihelp or Oflomil. Both drugs are based on one active ingredient - amorolfine hydrochloride. This means that they have a penetrating ability into the thickness of the nail, where they have to destroy the fungal infection, penetrating into the cell membranes of pathogenic microorganisms. As a result, the growth and reproduction of pathogens of onychomycosis is significantly slowed down, and against the background of the systemic use of drugs, their death occurs.
At the same time, Oflomil, according to the observations of specialists and patient reviews, provokes much more side effects, in contrast to Onihelp varnish. Often, potential consumers complain of itching, burning and allergic reactions. But at the same time with this fact, Oflomil is approved for use in children from the age of three. Which drug is best used in a particular situation - the doctor will determine.

Onihelp or Lotseril. Lotseril is a structural analogue of Onichelp, since it also contains amorolfine hydrochloride. That is, there are no special differences between these drugs in the mechanism of action. But only at first glance.
In fact, the instructions for Lotseril indicate that this medication can be used for 7-10 days. After that, the patient should contact the attending physician and evaluate the results of the therapy. With the development of positive dynamics aimed at recovery, the use of Lotseril is continued until the growth of healthy tissues of the nail plate to its full length. In case of failure, the drug is replaced with another, without the inclusion of amorolfine hydrochloride in the main composition.
In addition, it is undesirable to use Lotseril in many conditions, that is, the list of contraindications to it is quite extensive. This includes disorders of the urinary system, diseases of the heart and blood vessels, liver failure, cancer problems and much more. Onyhelp does not have such restrictions for use.
Nevertheless, the doctor decides what to choose in a particular case to fight the infection.
Reviews

Nikolay, 35 years old. “The diagnosis of onychomycosis was made by a doctor during a routine medical examination. The specialist warned that if the disease is not treated, over time, you can lose all nails. Prescribed Onyhelp, which I used for a year at intervals of 1 time per week. The treatment did not cause any particular difficulties, and there were no side effects. Now there is no trace of the disease. "
Tamara, 38 years old. “After serving in the army, my son returned with a fungus on his nails. The doctor diagnosed candidiasis and recommended buying Onyhelp varnish. Alina, 25 years old. “I have tried many folk remedies and preparations to combat nail fungus, but most of all I would like to mention Onihelp varnish. It quickly helps to remove the infection and grow new plates, the main thing is not to delay the visit to the doctor. "
Many specialists and patients speak positively about the effectiveness of Onyhelp varnish. This can be noted by the positive recommendations for the drug. In addition to the pronounced antimycotic effect, the medication rarely provokes the development of side effects and has a small list of contraindications.
But we must not forget that sometimes complex treatment is required, which is based on the simultaneous administration of oral antibiotics with a fungicidal effect and the external use of ointments and varnishes. Therefore, you should not engage in self-diagnosis and select medicines for yourself, relying on reviews on the Internet or advice from loved ones. What is better for fighting onychomycosis - only a doctor knows.
