Operating principle

Preparations from the Mycostop line are designed to destroy and protect nails and skin of feet from fungus, as well as disinfect shoes. The complex of active ingredients, which is part of the listed funds, reliably stops the vital activity of the mycelium and mycospores, preventing the recurrence of onychomycosis and promoting recovery.

The cream paste is enriched with carbamide or urea, which successfully softens the surface of the nail and skin, helping the active ingredient of the drug to penetrate into their deep layers and work more efficiently. The lotion contains lactic acid, which forms an acidic environment on the surface of the foci of infection, which is detrimental to pathogens. In addition, all medicines, in addition to a pronounced fungicidal effect, have a positive effect on the restoration and growth of nail plates, stimulate local blood circulation and immune protection.

Instructions for use

Let's consider how to use the Mycostop product, depending on its form of release.

Cream. Fungal diseases often lead to thickening and changes in the structure of the nail. If this happens, the use of many local antimycotics becomes almost useless. since their active components cannot penetrate into the thickness of the nail and provide their therapeutic impact.

The composition of Mycostop cream additionally includes 10% of urea, which qualitatively softens the hardened areas of the stratum corneum. The drug is recommended to be applied 2 times a day for 1-2 weeks.

Lotion. The composition of this medication includes two acids - lactic and nicotinic. The first creates unbearable conditions for the life and reproduction of the fungus. The second improves blood circulation, which has a positive effect on nail growth and enhancing immune defenses.

The lotion, like all Mycostop preparations, is applied to the foci of onychomycosis in the amount of one drop, which it is necessary to carefully distribute over the surface of the plate and wait 2 minutes until the remedy will be absorbed. The tool is used 2 times a day for 2 months. Then it is enough to apply the lotion once at night until the signs of onychomycosis disappear.

Cream paste. This preparation contains 40% of urea, which contributes to the maximum loosening of the area affected by the nail fungus. Thanks to this effect, it is possible to achieve quick removal of damaged tissues in literally 2-3 procedures without pain and discomfort, freeing up space for the growth of a healthy plate.

Application of cream pasteCream-paste from the Mycostop line is applied in a thick, uniform layer over the entire surface of the nail, without going beyond it. A small layer of cotton wool is applied to the preparation and securely fixed with an adhesive plaster. After 48 hours, carefully remove the bandage, use the scraper supplied in the package to the antimycotic, clean the nail bed from exfoliated tissue fragments. As a rule, one procedure is not enough - in most cases it will take three to completely remove the damaged nail.

Spray. This remedy can rightfully be called the best prophylactic drug for onychomycosis. It is recommended to use it to prevent infection with fungal pathogens after visiting such public places such as a swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, shoe store and much more, where the risk of data contamination is increased disease.

The spray contains undecylenic acid, which forms local defenses against the causative agents of onychomycosis. Thanks to this, the likelihood of infection and recurrence of infection is reduced to zero.

The spray is applied to the skin of the feet and nails after contact with surfaces that may have been affected by the fungus. To disinfect shoes, the agent is sprayed inside overnight for 3-5 days. The processing of shoes and boots should be carried out simultaneously with local therapy of onychomycosis if a person suffers from this disease.

Deodorant. This form of release of Mikostop is used to combat hyperhidrosis - increased sweating of the legs, which is especially characteristic of a fungal infection. Additionally, the product removes an unpleasant odor. The composition of the deodorant includes antimycotic components that prevent the reproduction of pathogens of onychomycosis and destroy them at the cellular level.

Deodorant applicationThe drug is sprayed on the nails and skin affected by the fungus once a day. According to the instructions, its use is not limited to certain time intervals.

What form of release is most effective for nail fungus?

All the medicines of the Mycostop line can rightfully be called effective in onychomycosis, since each of them purposefully performs the task assigned to it.

The cream paste successfully softens and removes the affected nail in just a few procedures. The lotion forms an acidic environment in which pathogenic microorganisms die. The spray provides reliable prophylaxis against infection with pathogens of onychomycosis. The cream penetrates deeply into the nails, actively acting on the pathological process. The deodorant softens the effects of the fungus, regulates the perspiration of the feet, and forms a persistent antimycotic protection.

The funds can be used in a complex, that is, buy several drugs at once - a spray for disinfecting shoes and preventing disease after possible contact with carriers of onychomycosis, cream-paste and lotion to treat foci of infection, deodorant in the fight against excessive sweating of the feet.

At the initial stage of onychomycosis, they should be used as an independent therapeutic arsenal of the user, so how their effectiveness is sufficient to cope with fungal infection without the use of additional medicines.

The effectiveness of the remedy for running nail fungus

Like most local antimycotic drugs, no form of release from the Mikostop line can cope with an infection if it has passed into a chronic complicated stage. Therefore, to combat chronic onychomycosis, it is necessary to use systemic medications - oral antibiotics, which can destroy the fungus from the inside.

Use for children, pregnant women, lactating

Women during pregnancy and lactation are not prohibited from using Mycostop, but their treatment must be agreed with a doctor and carried out under his supervision.

In childhood, the drug is not prescribed, since there are no clinical studies on its safety among young patients. Therefore, doctors suggest using analogues of the medication.

Reviews

According to many experts, the preparations of the Mycostop line have the following advantages:

  • quick treatment of an infectious process caused by a fungus;
  • painless removal of nail plates that cannot be restored;
  • simple instructions for use;
  • rare side effects and a small list of contraindications;
  • availability of drugs.

In addition, doctors confirm that Mikostop can be used as an independent remedy in the fight against onychomycosis, if we are not talking about the systemic effect of the fungus on the body.

We invite you to find out what reviews are available among consumers.

Alexander, 34 years old. “Mycostop cream helped with onychomycosis. I used it according to the instructions for about 4 weeks, after which the doctor advised me to switch to a spray to consolidate the achieved effect. I didn’t use additional medicines ”.

Evgenia, 27 years old. “I use Mycostop deodorant after every visit to the pool and sauna. Not a single case of infection with the fungus has been identified. Before using this drug, I encountered onychomycosis several times, now I prefer not treatment, but prevention. "

Marina, 28 years old. “Micostop lotion is affordable, but it will take a long time to fight against nail fungus. It took me 6 months. Now I use the spray to prevent and disinfect shoes, so as not to catch this infection again. "

Julia, 25 years old. “The doctor prescribed Mycostop cream 2 times a day for a month. After a week, the condition of the nails improved markedly. After the end of the treatment regimen, she began to use the spray in order to consolidate the result. Both Mycostop drugs have proven to be effective. "

According to the reviews of doctors and patients, this line of antimycotics effectively copes with onychomycosis at the stage of infection with a fungus and at the very beginning of the disease. In other cases, an integrated approach may be needed, combining the intake of oral antibiotics with a fungicidal effect. The doctor decides what is needed in each specific case.
