Nutrition for pancreatic necrosis of the pancreas
Pancreatonecrosis refers to quite dangerous and severe diseases of the abdominal cavity and represents a complication of acute or chronic inflammation in the pancreas, consisting inDigestion of the enzymes produced by her own parenchyma. With this pathology, not only the gland tissues are damaged, but also the nervous ganglia, and the vessels - everything that touches and surrounds the inflamed organ.
One of the main prerequisites for the development of pancreatic necrosis is a failure to comply with the diet - consumption of fried, spicy, fatty foods and alcohol, therefore, a necessary condition for effective treatment of necrotizing pancreatitis - a balanced diet and avoiding strong drinks.
Principles of nutrition in necrotizing pancreatitis
Correctly chosen in pancreonecrosis power is an important part of complex treatment of disease.
diet at the same time is divided into several stages:
- starvation, suggesting abstinence from food during acute necrosis of the pancreas, before and after surgery;
- diet No. 5P( 1st option), appointed after fasting for a period of 3 days to a week;
- diet No. 5P( 2nd version), used after acute symptoms and pain relief.
Both variants have different target orientation:
- first one does not cause the secretion of digestive juice than helps relieve pain and to ensure in pancreonecrosis pancreatic maximum rest;
- second - aims to prevent relapse and progression of the disease, while the diet excludes dishes that increase secretory activity, both the pancreas and the stomach.
Parenteral nutrition and starvation
In the early days of the disease, for a certain period before and after the operation the patient is assigned a zero table, which leads to enzymatic rest of the pancreas: at this stage the body is resting without producing destructive for him in necrotizing pancreatitisjuice.
To avoid exhaustion, the patient receives parenteral nutrition, in which necessary nutrients for the body are injected directly into the blood.
The composition of the solution for injection calculated from the energy needs of the nutritional specialist consists most often of a 20% glucose solution with the addition of amino acid solutions, fat emulsions, insulin and other components.
Diet after pancreatic necrosis
Following the surgery, when the symptoms of pancreatic necrosis subsides, the diet is expanding. On the fifth day after surgery, the patient is allowed to drink a glass of rose hips or alkaline mineral water without gas no more than 4 times a day.
If, within two days, there is no deterioration, the patient is transferred to a diet No. 5P, according to which a fractional diet is prescribed up to 6 times a day with three main meals. Products should be warm, boiled or cooked without salt and spices.
Diet No. 5P completely excludes the consumption of fatty, salty, spicy, fried foods and alcohol in pancreatic necrosis. The first dishes are prepared from cereals and mashed vegetables - carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, zucchini. For garnishes prepared on the water from rice, buckwheat, oatmeal or vermicelli, you can serve non-fatty varieties of fish, poultry or meat.

- unsweetened biscuits and crackers;
- soft and ripe fresh fruit;
- baked apples, jellies, mousses;

Ideally, a special mode of eating becomes a habit for the patient. In the event that its functional insufficiency has not developed, in the future, nutrition can be diversified by listening to the doctor's recommendations and own feelings.
