Asymptomatic inflammation of the prostate

Asymptomatic inflammation of the prostate or in another way - asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis can be detected at the time of dissection, as well as with a variety of surgical interventions on the prostate gland. The incidence of inflammation depends mainly on the amount of tissue that is taken for examination and can range from 44% if needle biopsy, up to 95% if transurethral resection, to 98-100% if prostatectomy, that is, the process of prostate removal.
Inflammation of the prostate
The relationship between asymptomatic prostatitis and infection caused by bacteria with symptomatic prostate syndromes is rather questionable. It is believed that the changes in inflammation that are detected by histological examination( the so-called research conducted at the cellular level) are a physiological feature that comes with age.
Causes of asymptomatic inflammation of the prostate
Factors that contribute to the development of asymptomatic inflammation of the prostate:
- Age of the man.
- Hormonal imbalance or disorder.
- Increased tissue volume due to the formation of new prostate cells:
- Neurotrophic disorders, that is, eating disorders of the tissue.
- Poor circulation.
- Disturbance of the outflow of the secretion of the prostate.
- A change in receptor activity that leads to impaired urination, "swirling" of urine and intraprostatic urinary casting.
- Chronic delay of urination.
- Bacterial infections.
- Impaired immunity.
Treatment of asymptomatic prostate inflammation
Patients with asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis do not need treatment, even though there are laboratory, histological or cytological signs of inflammation.
Treatment of patients with this disease is carried out according to the following indications:
- Infertility.
- Identification of various recognized pathogens during microbiological examination.
- With an increased PSA level and positive microbiological examination results( before the indications for prostate biopsy are determined).
- Before starting surgical treatment on the prostate gland.
- For this, the same antibacterial drugs are used as for the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis.
Application of massage
Widely applied massage of the prostate gland in the case of asymptomatic inflammation of the prostate. In general, prostate massage has been used to treat this disease since the 19th century, although there is still no single view of the need for this method of treatment. The most famous and recognized method of treating asymptomatic inflammation of the prostate with the use of prostate massage is the Manila Protocol. It is a prostate massage three times a week, a dynamic microbiological study and the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics.
Prevention of the disease
It should be noted that for the prevention of this disease, a urological examination consisting of:
- should be conducted. General methods for examining urological patients: blood tests such as: clinical, HIV, biochemical, RW and hepatitis B and C, andAnalysis of urine.
- Special methods for examining urological patients:
- prostate secretion research process
- analyzes for sexually transmitted infections
- rectal examination with fingers
- ultrasound of the kidneys, bladder and ultrasound of the prostate
- uroflowmetry, i.e. conducting a urination test for suspected prostatitis
- AlsoIt is required to make a blood test for PSA and prostate biopsy, in order to exclude prostate cancer.
