Diaphanoscopy of the scrotum is a method of investigation that is used to determine if there are any bulky formations in the testicles. With the help of a directional source of bright light, the doctor shows through the tissues of the testicle. - If there is a suspicion that the inguinal hernia develops.
Preparation and conduct of the

The procedure is carried out in a darkened room. The examinee settles on the couch, exposing the genitals. The doctor has a source of illumination behind the scrotum and studies the structure of the testicle on the lumen. Thus, it can be quickly detected:

- inguinal hernia, when the part of the intestine descends into the scrotum through the inguinal canal;
