How and why is diaphanoscopy of the scrotum and testes performed?
Diaphanoscopy of the scrotum is a method of investigation that is used to determine if there are any bulky formations in the testicles. With the help of a directional source of bright light, the doctor shows through the tissues of the testicle. Since different anatomical structures conduct light in different ways, it is possible to draw conclusions about the state of testicular tissues.
