Pills for noise in the head: a list of effective medicines and traditional medicine

Noise in my head

Content:

  • Effective drugs
  • Vitamins, folk remedies

Noises in the head and ears, foggy, and confusion can occur for many reasons.

As a rule, such symptoms are associated with circulatory disorders, but the primary task of the doctor is to establish the etiology of such disorders. Only after carrying out diagnostic measures are prescribed pills for noise in the head.

There are many definitions and medical terms used to describe cephalalgia (as doctors call a headache).

If such a phenomenon is of a one-time nature, the patient prefers to take Citramon, Ibuprofen or a drug with a similar effect. But with chronic cephalalgia, especially with concomitant dizziness, weakness, ringing in the ears, noise in the head, it is necessary to consult a specialist.

Typically, the therapist issues referrals for the following research:

  • a general blood test to determine possible chronic viral and infectious diseases (according to the leukocyte formula and the level of ESR), anemia (according to the concentration of hemoglobin, the number of erythrocytes);
  • clinical analysis of urine to identify problems in the functioning of the kidneys, which are indicated by an increase in protein levels, the appearance of leukocytes, erythrocytes, salts;
  • ECG to diagnose the rhythm and order of heart contractions, if necessary, the cardiogram is performed in parallel with the Doppler ultrasound of the heart;
  • EEG (electroencephalogram) is needed to determine the functioning of the brain, in other words, using this test, the quality of the response to any stimuli is checked;
  • MRI, a modern technique that allows you to determine possible neoplasms and the quality of blood flow in the brain.

Patients with a predisposition to various kinds of encephalopathies deserve special attention.

Risk factors include:

  • bad habits;
  • overweight;
  • genetic predisposition;
  • chronic arterial hypertension;
  • anemia;
  • pathology of the circulatory system;
  • disorders of cerebral blood flow against the background of diseases of the cervical spine.

Tablets for noise and ringing in the head belong to different pharmacological groups and differ in their mechanism of action.

Typically, these medicines:

  • They affect specific receptors located in the vascular wall, causing it to relax. As a result, blood flow in the vessels of the brain improves. They have little effect on the level of general blood pressure.
  • Eliminate the manifestations of systemic hypertension. Such funds improve the work of the heart muscle and prevent tissue hypoxia.
  • Compensate for iron and vitamin deficiencies. This condition can also cause noise in the head and feel unwell.
  • They relax the skeletal muscles and restore the structure of the cartilage tissue of the intervertebral discs. Such drugs are prescribed for violation of blood flow in the brain associated with osteochondrosis of the cervical spine.
  • Normalize the tone of the nervous system. Usually, strong antidepressants cause drowsiness and generally affect your lifestyle. Therefore, with a mild degree of neurological disorders, susceptibility to the influence of stress factors, light herbal sedatives, drugs with magnesium and B vitamins are indicated.

The result of treatment depends on the correct prescription and diagnosis. For mild disorders and a state of moderate severity, drugs are taken in the form of tablets. New generation medicines are rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract, are highly bioavailable and very effective.

If a person has serious disorders of cerebral circulation and pronounced external and pathophysiological signs of encephalopathy, hospitalization is possible. In a hospital, drugs are administered parenterally in the form of injections intramuscularly or intravenously. Contraindications to taking medications depend on the pharmacological group to which the drug belongs.

But the general restrictions on the start of treatment are usually:

  • pregnancy;
  • lactation period;
  • low blood pressure;
  • malignant and benign neoplasms in the brain;
  • children and adolescents up to 14-18 years old.

With caution, drugs are prescribed for aneurysm, the risk of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke. Patients with diabetes mellitus, impaired secretion of the thyroid gland, pituitary gland, hypothalamus, adrenal cortex require strict control of treatment. Drugs are selected taking into account the pharmacodynamics in renal or hepatic insufficiency. They also pay attention to concomitant diseases and taking other medications.

Tablets for tinnitus and head: a list of the most effective drugs

As statistics show, the main cause of cephalalgia, noise in the head and dizziness is high blood pressure.

Cure for noise in the head

To relieve hypertension, the following groups of drugs are prescribed:

  • Diuretics Hypothiazide, Indapamide, Arifon retard and other drugs are prescribed. The dosage is selected in such a way as to cause a noticeable decrease in blood pressure without a pronounced diuretic effect.
  • Beta blockers. They are not first-line drugs. However, at present, Betaxolol is often used, especially if hypertension is combined with angina pectoris, heart failure, heart rhythm disturbances against the background of emotional or physical activity. Medicines of this series are prescribed to patients with a history of a heart attack.
  • Calcium antagonists. Previously, such drugs caused a number of side effects, in particular, swelling, hot flashes, and a feeling of heat. The drugs of the last, third generation, for example, Lerkamen, are devoid of these shortcomings.
  • Agents affecting the activity of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS). This group includes Captopril, Enalapril, Moexipril, Spirapril and others. Medicines have a long half-life, so they can be used once a day. They have a powerful hypotensive effect, rarely cause unwanted reactions.

Its useful to note

In severe cases of the disease, a combination of several drugs from different pharmacological groups is prescribed.

Safer medicines used to relieve symptoms of vascular dystonia. As a rule, the pathology has a "erased", variable clinical picture. The regulation of the tone of the vascular wall is impaired, therefore, the increase in intracranial and total blood pressure is of a periodic, unpredictable, short-term nature. But due to the chronic course of the pathology, the risk of irreversible disturbances in blood flow in the vessels of the brain is high.

Usually, relatively safe medicines are prescribed containing plant extracts (leaves of ginkgo biloba, horse chestnut), these are:

  • Tanakan, 0.04 g three times a day;
  • Bilobil and Bilobil Intense 1 capsule up to 3 times a day;
  • Gingium, take 1 tablet 2-3 times a day;
  • Memoplant, drink 1-2 capsules three times a day;

The duration of the course of treatment is at least 8 weeks. However, natural medicines are effective for mild symptoms of dystonia and hypoxia of brain tissue. With a vivid clinical picture, pills and injections for tinnitus and head noise based on synthetic substances are recommended.

For example:

  • Vinpocetine (Barventon, Cavinton, Korsavin). Prescribe for a long time 1-2 tablets three times a day. In severe cases, treatment begins with injections, the dosage is calculated according to the formula 1 mg per kilogram of body weight.
  • Instenon. Combined drug that stimulates blood flow in the brain and improves systemic metabolism. Therapy is carried out using injections (1 ampoule up to 2 times a day) or tablets (1-2 pieces up to 3 times a day). The course of treatment is 8-12 weeks.
  • Kombitropil (Omaron, Phezam). A completely safe drug containing a combination of piracetam and cinnarizine. It is also recommended for children over 5 years old. An adult is prescribed 1-2 capsules three times a day, a child - once a day.

Special attention should be paid to the treatment of noise in the head associated with osteochondrosis of the cervical ridge. In this case, the use of blood flow stimulants will have no effect. The principles of therapy depend on the phase of the disease.

In an acute course, the patient is prescribed:

  • Strict rest and bed rest. In this case, you should use orthopedic mattresses and pillows. Putting on Shants' immobilizing collar is not excluded.
  • Anesthesia. Most often, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed in the form of injections, then the patient is transferred to oral pills. They prescribe Movalis, Dikloberl, Olfen, Celebrex. Sometimes therapy is supplemented with antispasmodics (Baralgin). With a strong inflammatory process, a short-term course of corticosteroids is indicated.

Its useful to note

With severe symptoms of osteochondrosis, ointments and creams from the NSAID group are ineffective.

  • Physiotherapy. An integral part of the treatment of osteochondrosis is massage, exposure to impulse currents, darsonvalization, laser, magnetic therapy, etc., electrophoresis.

After the relief of the acute syndrome, drugs from the group of chondroprotectors are indicated to restore the structure of the cartilage tissue. The most effective drugs are the latest generation, which contain at least two components: chondroitin and glucosamine.

This is:

  • Teraflex and Teraflex Advance (additionally contains the anti-inflammatory component ibuprofen);
  • Artra and Artra MSM Forte (also contains NSAIDs and hyaluronic acid);
  • Kondronova;
  • Tazan;
  • Chondroflex.

To achieve an optimal result, pills from tinnitus and head from the class of chondroprotectors are recommended to be taken for a long time, at least 3 months. The course of therapy is advised to be combined with remedial gymnastics, massage, gentle physiotherapy. In some cases, anemia is the cause of cephalalgia and associated discomfort.

For its treatment, drugs and multivitamin complexes containing iron are prescribed:

  • Aktiferrin (syrup, drops and capsules), Aktiferrin Compositum with folic acid;
  • Biofer, contains iron and folic acid;
  • Sorbifer Durules, provides a gradual release of iron ions;
  • Maltofer;
  • Ferlatum;
  • Ferretab;
  • Ferrum Lek.

Unlike other drugs, these drugs can be used during pregnancy. But they are prescribed after a confirmed diagnosis of anemia.

Cure for noise in the head: vitamins, folk remedies, prevention

In addition to drugs for cephalalgia, combined with noise in the head, doctors recommend taking multivitamin complexes.

The following drugs are most effective:

  • Pharmaton Vital;
  • Feroglobin - B-12;
  • Gitagamp (contains a full range of B vitamins);
  • Dr. Theiss Gerovital.

By and large, you can pick up any multivitamin complex from the assortment presented in pharmacies. But the product must necessarily contain iron, B vitamins, antioxidants (niacin, tocopherol, retinol), magnesium.

  • Pour a tablespoon of heather herb with half a liter of boiling water, simmer for 10 minutes, leave for 2 hours and drink a glass during the day.

Medicine for noise in the head and ears will not be needed at all if a person from his youth pays due attention to the prevention of blood flow disorders in the brain. It is necessary to quit smoking and alcohol abuse, to maintain a normal weight. The diet is of great importance. The foods consumed should contain all the essential vitamins and minerals.
