The need to take tests for the ovum leaf and their types

Probably, there are no people left who have reached adulthood and, at the same time, have never undergone the procedure for passing feces for tests. It is intended for the subsequent detection of the presence or absence of helminths in the body.

Usually, analyzes of this type are taken when entering a higher educational institution, getting a job, drawing up a health book, or for subsequent attendance at sports events for swimming in the pool.

Depending on what is the reason for the appointment, the tests for the ovum leaf are conventionally classified into:

  • preventive. This type of analysis is carried out in order to timely detect the presence of worms, even if a person does not have symptoms indicating a disease. This procedure is performed both on the patient's own initiative and in the case of a necessary medical examination;
  • barrier. Their main task is to prevent helminth diseases among a large number of people. Usually, this type of test for oviduct is necessary to obtain a certificate indicating the absence of a helminth disease for subsequent admission to an educational institution or for enrollment in sports section;
  • in connection with the appointment of a doctor. The procedure for passing the analysis in this case is carried out due to the patient's complaints of weight loss or prolonged itching in the anus and other symptoms. In addition to the appointment of an analysis for the oviduct, the patient's blood is examined for the presence of antibodies. This type of analysis is more thorough. If there is any doubt about the reliability of the result of the analysis for helminths, a second examination may be prescribed.

The reasons for the development of many diseases, starting with a simple allergies and ending with cancer, there may be ascaris in the body.

In case of suspicion of an allergy, a hemotest may be prescribed. And if a small amount of ascaris does not seriously affect human health, then a significant content in the human body of helminths of this species, to a large extent, drains him.

It causes an increase or, conversely, a decrease in appetite, entails a weakening of the immune system, causes constipation or diarrhea, as well as painful sensations in the navel.

Pinworm infection can occur with itching in a person in the genital area, as well as the anus.

These are not all the reasons why you should take the analysis for worms on time. The necessary study of feces and blood will be able to identify the reasons why the patient has certain diseases, or simply unpleasant sensations.

A timely visit to a doctor and the delivery of an analysis, indicating the presence or absence of helminths in the body, can prevent the development of pathology from the acute phase to the chronic one.

Analysis for enterobiasis

To detect pinworms in the human body, you need to go through a fairly simple procedure. It consists in taking a scraping on enterobiasis. It can only be done in a medical facility.

This type of analysis is not time consuming. Plus, it's painless. A smear is taken from the person passing the tests on the oviduct with a cotton swab, the end of which is moistened with glycerin.

Then the stick with the already taken smear for analysis is placed in a test tube prepared in advance for this. This procedure is usually carried out in the morning. If it is carried out in relation to children, then parents are preliminarily monitored so that they do not take water procedures before submitting the necessary materials for analysis.

Subsequent examination under a microscope of a smear can show the presence or absence of pathogens - helminths, their eggs or larvae. The period during which the test results are prepared is 6 days.

Carrying out stool analysis in adults and children for the presence of such diseases like enterobiasis, is carried out in the presence of the following grounds:

  • there is a suspicion of helminthiasis;
  • the labor activity of citizens is associated with their contact or direct contact with animals (veterinarians, dog handlers);
  • the presence of pets in the house.

This analysis allows you to determine up to 50% of pinworms in the human body. However, in order to obtain more detailed data on the presence of enterobiasis, the analysis is done 2-3 times.

The break between the delivery of material for analysis should be several days. Each test is valid for 10 days, therefore, the next test can be taken later 10 days after passing the first one.

Stool analysis for helminth eggs

There are the main conditions that must be followed when passing the analysis for helminths:

  • The container for the material must be prepared in advance. This can be either a sterile jar sold in pharmacies, or an ordinary household glass container. Some mothers scald the pot before collecting feces from their children, but this is not at all necessary. In order to seal the container, it is necessary to have screw caps available. However, for convenient use, pharmacies offer special jars with spoons inside. It does not seem reasonable to surrender paper or matchboxes of material for analysis;
  • If the subject of the analysis is a child, it is necessary to control its emptying, in other words, to prepare for the delivery of the analysis. Enema procedures should not be performed. In addition, laxatives should be abandoned for a while;
  • It is necessary to collect analyzes, excluding getting into the urine material needed for delivery;
  • It is forbidden to collect on materialsnot intended for this (cardboard, polyethylene). It is necessary to take a container that strictly corresponds to the description of the doctor for the purpose of this nature;
  • In case, for some reason, the feces were taken in the evening, and the trip to the doctor will be carried out in the morning the next day, it is necessary to put the material in the refrigerator at a temperature not higher than +5 degrees Celsius. It should be noted that the longer the material for analysis is stored in the refrigerator, the shorter the period for performing laboratory analysis activities remains with the doctor. In addition, the material for analysis can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 8 hours.
  • Amount of material suggests taking it in the amount of approximately two teaspoons, that is, about 5-10 g.

It should be remembered that compliance with the conditions for conducting any study applies not only to medical personnel, but also to those interested in examining patients.

Usually, this type of analysis is accompanied by filling out a form in the form 219 / y, the registration of which is necessary and involves the introduction of such data as:

  • Name of the patient;
  • his age;
  • number of the medical institution and medical card.

This form is to be attached to the analysis materials. Both items go to the laboratory. Directly, a laboratory assistant examining feces and determining the presence of protozoa or their eggs in it, introduces the corresponding entry in the form (negative entry indicates the absence of worms, positive - about presence). The general procedure provides for the mandatory entry into the form of the number of times the feces were submitted for analysis.

Analysis of feces for opisthorchiasis, ascariasis, trichinosis

Stool tests can also be prescribed for suspected helminth-related diseases such as:

  • ascariasis;
  • opisthorchiasis;
  • trichinosis.

To detect ascaris disease, it is most prudent to take a blood test for the presence of antibodies. To take a blood test, you should refrain from eating for four hours before the material is submitted for analysis.

The most effective for detecting opisthorchiasis and trichinosis is a blood test for IgG antibodies. As a rule, the most reliable blood test result for specific antibodies is obtained if blood is taken at 6 or 8 weeks of opisthorchiasis disease.

Recommended frequency of testing

It should be understood that if doctors recommend taking all tests once a year for prevention, then this is the same at least the number of times each person needs to be tested, including fecal tests for egg leaf.

Due to the fact that 90% of people of the entire population of the Earth to one degree or another are infected with helminths, it is most prudent to take tests at least 2 times in year.

However, if, for some reason, the adult does not feel sufficient need to take tests with the specified frequency, then the child must take the material 2 times a year.

His fragile body is most susceptible to outside influences.

Analysis results and treatment process

Confirmation of the diagnosis of the disease can also proceed by taking blood from a vein. Biochemical analysis allows you to establish the presence of antibodies to helminths, that is, to find out the degree of intoxication and the general condition of the body.

The treatment process should be under the supervision of specialists for the competent study of all changes in the body that occur during the treatment with prescribed medications. When the material is handed over to the laboratory, you can also ask the medical officer about the period and validity of the issued certificate.

In the event that parasitic infestations were detected, and this is evidenced by a positive test result for helminths, then the first thing you should immediately contact a therapist or doctor specializing in parasitic diseases and provide all the necessary results analysis.

The doctor may prescribe an additional examination with the participation of all family members of the applicant for an accurate diagnosis. The next step, the doctor, as a rule, based on the results of the analysis, must prescribe a special health-improving course, during which the patient must take broad-spectrum anthelmintic drugs for humans.

The effectiveness of passing the test for oviduct and basic recommendations

Stool analysis for the presence of helminth eggs is the most effective detection method parasites in the human body. This type of analysis is suitable for detecting helminthic invasions and the degree of their damage to both the child's body and the adult's body.

You should take good care of your health, including passing all the necessary tests for the egg leaf on time.

The development of any disease can be prevented by first taking appropriate preventive measures.
