Chronic gastritis in children of school age
Chronic gastritis and chronic gastroduodenitis are most often observed in schoolchildren. Today we will tell you about what these diseases are, what causes the disease, let's name the main symptoms and teach you how to provide medical care for acute manifestations of gastritis and gastroduodenitis.
For medical reasons more than 65% of sick children of school age and even adults have duodenal lesions and stomach damage. These diseases in 60% of cases cause exactly the wrong and unhealthy food - it's too spicy food, salty foods, too hot dishes, lots of fried foods, smoked products, different chips, crackers, snacks that are sold in any kiosks and shops and so on. And this is not all the reasons for causing gastritis and gastroduodenitis. In addition to the above, this disease can cause suhomatka and overeating, as well as a very stressful lifestyle( namely, nervous). In the case when one or both of the parents suffered( or suffer) typical diseases, there is also a threat of gastritis and gastroduodenitis due to heredity. The development of the disease is also promoted by allergic and helminth diseases( most often, the sources of helminth diseases are: dirty( unwashed) fruits, vegetables and any other food, untreated dirty water, dirty hands, small children - sand under the fingernails and so on).
Gastritis and gastroduodenitis is a disease, it can be said, "wavy", just like in 90% of cases it is leaking. The first symptoms are: pain from the area of the stomach( sometimes very acute), hunger( usually after eating) or, on the contrary, a decrease in appetite, nausea( vomiting), severe eructation, headache, dyslexia, unstable stools. These are all visible causes. Invisible causes - most often irritability and severe fatigue. Of course, rely only on the first and main symptoms - it's very little. To clarify the diagnosis is necessary in the hospital, where the patient will complete a survey( most likely, H-metry or sounding).
When the illness worsens, doctors recommend that bed rest is performed from 3 to 5-7 days. The patient must follow a diet - it's low-fat food, milk soups, vegetable light soups, meat( but not fried, steam is recommended, you can boiled, but not fatty), fish( also not fried at all), well-cookedGruel( can be vegetable), mashed potatoes( potato and vegetable), bread( preferably stale), cottage cheese, omelette and other sparing food. It is recommended to cook all the food for a couple, if there is no such possibility, then it is good to boil it. Meals should be frequent and divided( approximately 6-7 times a day).
In the treatment of gastritis and gastroduodenitis, warm mineral lightly-carbonaceous water and some herbs are helped: these are yarrow, mint, dill, immortelle, chamomile - cholagogue and calming herbs. Proportions of 10.0: 200 ml. Give to drink to the patient one third of a glass 2 or 3 times a day, preferably half an hour before a meal. Do not forget that it is more appropriate to use the above herbs after the medical elimination of acute illness. Patients with gastritis and gastroduodenitis will be prescribed medications( eg Almagel, Fistal, Meksaz and others) and a course of vitamins A, B, E and C.
